Are Brookside Homes stick-built homes?
Yes, our homes are custom-built onsite. They are not prefabricated
units.
Can we make changes to your standard
plans?
Yes, Brookside Homes offers 66 standard plans, but will make
changes to these plans or will help design a plan with the customer.
We own or we are looking at building
lots and were not sure if the plan will fit the lot. What can we
do?
Call and set up an appointment with one of our sales staff. After
defining a house plan, we will visit your site to make sure that
everything will work.
We live quite a distance from Brookside
Homes. How far away will you build our home? Are there travel charges
involved?

Is the basement of the home included?
Yes, basements are included in the standard price of your
home.
Can you give me a price per square foot
of living area?
To give an accurate price, home style and features will need
to be determined. After visiting our office and speaking to one
of our sales staff, we will give you
an itemized and detailed price quote.
Are there any charges for floor plans?
No, unless a special drawing package is needed for your building
area.
From the time we sign a contract, how
long before the home is started? How long will it then be until
it is finished?
Your home can be started shortly after your closing at the mortgage
lender and after all permits are obtained. Construction time is
normally 6 months.
Do you work regularly with a bank or mortgage
lender? Could you recommend one?

Do you offer any type of "Warranty"
on the homes you build? And if so, for how long?
Yes, Brookside Homes offers a full 1-year warranty on material
and labor and a 12-year structural
defect warranty.
