Are Brookside Homes stick-built homes?
Yes, our homes are custom-built onsite. They are not prefabricated units. Please take a moment to view a short video for an in-depth look at our Home Building process.

Can we make changes to your standard plans?
Yes, Brookside Homes offers an incredible collection of standard plans. We will gladly assist you in customizing our plans with any of the numerous designer options we offer or bring your own personal ideas to life in them. Additionally, we will help you design your home from your own ideas! You can browse our current complete plan offering in our Photo Journal of Home Plans.

We own or we are looking at building lots and were not sure if the plan will fit the lot. What can we do?
Call and set up an appointment with one of our Sales Consultants. After defining a house plan, we will visit your site to make sure that everything will work in the best possible way.

We live quite a distance from Brookside Homes. How far away will you build our home? Are there travel charges involved?

Is the basement of the home included?
Yes, basements are included in the standard price of your home. We allow you to select either Superior Xi™ poured concrete walls or concrete block walls. You can find more information about these and all of Brookside Homes standard features by clicking here.

Can you give me a price per square foot of living area?
To give an accurate price, home style and features will need to be determined. After visiting our office and speaking to one of our Sales Consultants, we will give you an itemized and detailed price quote.

Are there any charges for floor plans?
No, unless a special drawing package is needed for your building area.

From the time we sign a contract, how long before the home is started? How long will it then be until our new home is finished?
Your home can be started shortly after your closing at the mortgage lender and after all permits are obtained. Construction time is normally 6 months.

Do you work regularly with a bank or mortgage lender? Could you recommend one?
Yes, we continually evaluate mortage loan sources to provide the best service to our Customers. Please visit our links to our recommended lenders.

Do you offer any type of "Warranty" on the homes you build? And if so, for how long?
Yes, Brookside Homes offers a full 1-year warranty on material and labor and a 12-year structural defect warranty.
